We don’t just train athletes. We build humans.

Multi-Sport Kids Academy was built on a straightforward belief: the best thing you can do for a child aged 5–12 is get them outside, get them moving, and challenge them just enough to grow.

We are not just another after school activity. We do not believe in participation trophies, sheltered warm rooms, or sessions cancelled for a bit of rain. We believe the outdoors is a classroom, and that the challenges kids face there — weather, effort, competition, failure and recovery — are exactly what makes them exceptional adults.

Our 92% repeat booking rate tells us the kids and families agree.

The golden window for athletic development

We are bringing back playing outside until you are hungry.

We train outside. Fresh air, dirt, trees, and open parks. Kids will remember these moments far more than an afternoon staring at an iPad.

In a world increasingly pulling children toward screens, we pull them toward grass, wind, sunshine, and each other. The outdoors is not a setting — it is part of the program.

The Science

Think of the immune system like a muscle. If it sits safely in a sterile, indoor environment all day, it gets weak. Getting out in the dirt and fresh air is like taking that immune system to the gym — it builds the strength needed to fight off actual heavyweights, like winter colds.

Kids training outdoors at Multi-Sport Kids Academy

Six pillars. Every session. No exceptions.

We do not just train awesome little athletes — we build supreme confidence for everyday life. Every session covers all six of the following foundations through fun games and challenges kids genuinely love.

Sprint Capacity

Hitting max velocity every single day.

Think of it like a car engine — if you never take it on the highway, it gets sluggish. We open the throttle daily with short, explosive races that build fast-twitch muscle fibres. Whether chasing a soccer ball or sprinting to catch the bus, your child will explode off the mark.

Agility

Sidestepping and handling heavy loading to prevent injuries.

You never know when you need to quickly dodge a rogue dog or a dropped plate. Directional change, reactive footwork, and deceleration mechanics — these are life skills as much as sporting ones.

Strength

Every human should be able to lift and carry their own body weight.

Pull-ups, push-ups, squats, and bear crawls are non-negotiable. We build functional strength — the kind that helps you move through the world with confidence, not just lift things in a gym.

Balance

The body’s internal gyroscope — we train it constantly.

Good balance means you can navigate a slippery rock pool without face-planting, or ride a bike over a bumpy root without tipping. We weave balance challenges into games so kids build it without even noticing.

Coordination

Ball tracking, catching, and visual scanning.

Reacting to a flying ball fast means you can also dodge a swooping magpie. Scanning players in a game of bullrush directly translates to spatial awareness when eventually learning to parallel park a car. It all connects.

Stamina

The fitter you are, the longer you can focus.

Whether in sports, at work, or in school — stamina is the foundation of everything else. Our sessions are designed to build aerobic capacity through game play, so kids barely notice they are working hard. Until the next day.

We have never cancelled a session. And we never will.

We train in all weather. We know cancellations interrupt your workday, so instead we treat the bad weather days like a mini boot camp. By doing this, we teach kids how to adapt and deal with whatever the sky throws at them — life skills you usually only get in the Scouts.

The weather is the weather. You can hide from it all your life, or you can embrace it and build far greater resilience. Kids actually love the challenge at this young age — for many of them, it is all still new and exciting.

We have been running sessions since day one — zero cancellations, ever. Rain, cold, heat, wind — we go.

☀️

Over 30 Degrees?

Water fights. Kids love it, and they stay cool. High-energy fun with built-in hydration breaks.

🧥

Cold Days?

Jumpers on and we run more. The best warm-up is a sprint. Cold-weather fitness is a real thing, and kids thrive in it.

🌧️

Heavy Rain?

We teach them how to waterproof up, stay dry, and find shelter. A genuine practical life skill, delivered through the program.

Kids walking to Multi-Sport Kids Academy sessions

A 1.5km walk? That’s the point.

Some parents think walking 1.5km with a school backpack is too much. One parent once told us it was “barbaric.” We strongly disagree.

If a child cannot walk that distance, that is precisely why they need to significantly increase their physical activity. A 5-to-12-year-old is built to move.

“After the first few trips of building up the stamina to match the others, the kids absolutely love the chit-chat and the adventure of navigating from the school to the park. It is a highly active, fun start to the afternoon.” MSKA Walking Bus Guide

Our supervised walking bus collects children from partner school gates and walks them directly to the training venue under full WWCC-cleared supervision. Parents collect from the venue at session end.

The byproduct is the point.

While our main focus is athletic development across multiple sports, the byproduct is immense. Kids leave with resilience, grit, and the ability to problem-solve on the fly — traits that will benefit them massively in everyday life.

These are not soft skills you teach in a classroom. They are hard skills forged through genuine challenge, failure, and perseverance. We just happen to deliver them through sport.
